TerraScan is a smart agricultural drone solution designed to help farmers make faster and more confident field decisions using real, measurable data instead of relying mainly on instinct and personal experience. Our offering combines a high-resolution multispectral/NDVI imaging system with an integrated soil-sampling probe, supported by AI software that produces clear field maps and simple recommendations for actions such as irrigation planning, fertilization adjustments, and early detection of crop stress. The core need we address is that many farmers still lack timely and accurate insight into what is happening across large fields, which can lead to delayed decisions, wasted resources, and preventable yield loss—especially in rural areas where time, labor, and consistent monitoring are limited. Our initial target market is Greece, focusing on small-to-mid size crop farmers and farming cooperatives that manage medium to large fields and can benefit from a reliable and scalable monitoring tool. In the broader view, the opportunity expands into the EU, where agriculture is a major sector and efficiency improvements have strong economic and sustainability impact. Existing competition includes traditional manual soil testing, agronomist visits, and drone imaging services, but many of these options are either slow, inconsistent, expensive, or limited to aerial imagery only, without combining soil data and actionable AI insights in one integrated system. TerraScan differentiates by offering an all-in-one product that connects aerial monitoring and soil measurement into a single workflow that farmers can use repeatedly throughout the season. Our revenue generation mechanism is a hybrid model: we generate income through the sale (or leasing) of the TerraScan hardware, combined with a monthly subscription that supports ongoing AI analysis, software updates, and technical support. For example, with a one-time drone price of €8,500 and a €39/month subscription (€468/year), the Year-1 revenue per customer is approximately €8,968. The team behind TerraScan combines business planning, technology, and realistic execution. Vaggeli (Coordinator / Business Lead) developed the core concept (Idea–Need–Solution), defined the market sizing approach, and structured the go-to-market strategy, pricing, revenue logic, and Roadmap Part 1. Giannis led the Technology and Intellectual Property section, analyzed competition and differentiation, and designed the full presentation structure and branding (layout, visuals, logo placement). Nikos focused on finance and operations by building the financial projections, cost structure, and Roadmap Part 2 to align realistic costs with growth. The “magic” of TerraScan is that it turns complex field monitoring into a practical tool: one device, one platform, and one clear output that helps farmers protect their crops, save time, reduce uncertainty, and modernize their decision-making with data-driven confidence.

12. Υπεύθυνη κατανάλωση
Με την TerraScan οι αγρότες χρησιμοποιούν μόνο όσα χρειάζονται (νερό, λίπασμα, φυτοφάρμακα), επειδή βλέπουν ακριβώς τι συμβαίνει στο χωράφι. Αυτό μειώνει σπατάλη και άσκοπες εφαρμογές.

Μειώνοντας την υπερβολική χρήση λιπασμάτων και φυτοφαρμάκων, περιορίζονται οι περιβαλλοντικές επιπτώσεις και οι εκπομπές. Επίσης, πιο σωστή άρδευση σημαίνει λιγότερη άσκοπη κατανάλωση πόρων.
